At the heart of the two-week celebration is National Hometown Heroes Day on Saturday, Nov. 7, when participating Tractor Supply stores across the country will serve as local gathering places with family activities, first responder demonstrations and special recognition for Hometown Heroes. Participating stores will also select a local military, veteran or first responder organization to receive a $250 donation, building on more than 2,000 fire, police and veteran organizations supported during last year’s celebration.

Hometown Heroes Days began on National First Responders Day, Oct. 28, when verified military service members, veterans and first responders received a special 10% discount in stores and online. The discount will return on National Hometown Heroes Day, Nov. 7, and Veterans Day, Nov. 11, as Tractor Supply continues its nationwide celebration of those who serve their communities and country.

A day to celebrate local heroes

Tractor Supply established National Hometown Heroes Day in 2025 as a day of recognition for America’s military service members, veterans and first responders. This year’s celebration on Saturday, Nov. 7, will feature in-store activities and the special 10% Hometown Heroes discount.

The in-store event begins at 10 a.m. local time and includes touch-a-truck opportunities with local first responders, “thank a hero” kids crafts and more. Participating stores may also host cook-offs, food trucks, face painting, craft tables, music and special demonstrations. Activities vary by location. The Tractor Supply store in White Bluff, Tennessee, located about 26 miles from the Company’s Store Support Center, is celebrating with a special concert featuring U.S. Navy veteran and former Tractor Supply Emerging Artists finalist Brooks Herring, connecting Tractor Supply’s support of Hometown Heroes with music and community.

The military and first responder communities are deeply connected to the communities Tractor Supply serves.
